✦ Is the youngest out of a group of supernatural beings who are fragments of stars given life, known as The Elder Stars (usually shortened to Elders). They ruled over the people of the land, a mixture of beings similar to themselves and humans who sought to live in their lands - even though humans were the creations of the Land of Heaven, who opposed the Elders. The Elders were known for being incredibly powerful and having dutiful subjects that they created themselves. They brought great technical advancements, and used their knowledge to improve general life quality.
✦ Although called demons by the Land of Heaven, the Elders were actually incredibly benevolent and kind rulers. The citizens of their land admired them, and The Elders took the title of demons and wore it proudly.
✦ Angered by both the power The Elders possessed, and the apparent betrayal of the humans that followed them, the Ruler of Heaven brought down a great Calamity - the earth scorched, and fire rained from the sky. Many perished and while the Elders fought against it, it only brought more death for the humans caught in the middle. In order to preserve human lives, and ensure they can fight back in the future, The Elders and their creations went deep underground; entering a cryogenic slumber until they could rise once more and get revenge. As far as the followers of Heaven knew, they had all perished - the last thing they could do for their subjects left on the surface was to encase the central city in a barrier to protect them from the Calamity.
✦ However when the time to awaken came, only Aure woke up - along with all their creations. Distraught over the death of her family, yet knowing their subjects needed her, Aure rallied everyone together and announced their plans to retake their home and get revenge against Heaven.
✦ Explorations of the surface found that many millennia has passed, and that humanity has regressed greatly - the Land of Heaven is now revered absolutely, and the Elders are regarded as horrible creatures that only brought ruin. For now, she's laying low in the Capital, or what remains of it, ensuring the barrier stays in place while she helps rally the remaining subjects that were still loyal.
