PERSONALITY

Aure is an anxious young woman who is still adjusting to being (mostly) free of her family's overbearing presence and trying to be her own person. Is both soft-spoken and also Very Not, and has a tendency to let her emotions override any sort of filter. She can be surprisingly passionate about certain topics, and isn't one to be easily cowed despite seeming to be a vibrating bundle of nerves most times.

Despite this, she is a genuinely friendly and kind person who does her best to look out for others, and can be very playful if she feels comfortable enough. There's also a sneaky streak hidden under all this, and she's not above subtle tricks or twisting words to get what she wants - though she'll always avoid hurting others in the process if she can. Also a workaholic and doesn't understand how to just chill out for once.

Aurelija Sepetys, or Aure as she prefers to be called, was born to a large Lithuanian family who moved to Kaisou when she was very young due to her parents work. Ever since moving to the city, she's always been aware of something not being right, especially since she could see that sky looked pretty damn weird at night. And she could also do some neat tricks with light and talk to animals. She tries to keep this under wraps.

Her life had mostly been uneventful besides that, yet she felt a constant pressure to live up to all her older siblings achievements as the baby of the family - they were all great at what they did, so she needed to be as well. She had to be as pretty as her big sister, as smart as her older brother, as rich as them both - even when she moves out to study at the university, it's still something that nags at the back of her mind. Aure is at least glad that her interest in space allows her to study something she is passionate about and should give her a good career - astrophysics - but she tends not to visit home often nowadays...

Now she tries to focus on her studies in-between part-time work at the library and whatever volunteering she can squeeze in. Even if it means living on coffee and energy drinks and being lowkey envious of how her roomie is able to be so chill.
